Youth@Work -- Bridging the Opportunity Divide
Kevin Hempel joined the Social Protection and Labor Unit of the World Bank in July 2011 after working for the Children and Youth Unit and the World Bank Institute since 2009. Previously, Kevin worked for the Inter-American Development Bank in Mexico, the GIZ in Bolivia, the UN Economic Commission for Latin America in Chile, as well as in banking and management consulting in Europe. His recent work has focused on youth employment and entrepreneurship, youth violence, and the monitoring and evaluation of youth-focused interventions. Kevin holds a M.A. in International Relations from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) at Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in International Business from the European School of Business Reutlingen (Germany) and Reims Management School (France).
